The Director General of the Marine Science Center, Prof. Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajil, visited
the Shatt al-Arab Marine Boat Station affiliated with the Marine Science Center to review the progress of affairs, follow up on matters, and facilitate obstacles.
His Excellency was briefed on the progress of work there, the station's needs, and its preparations to play its effective role in supporting the environmental and biological scientific research proposed in the center's scientific research plan by facilitating the task of researchers in river trips to the Shatt al-Arab and the marshes, and sea trips to the northern Arabian Gulf and Iraqi territorial waters.
