The Department of Pediatric Surgery at Basra Specialized Children's Hospital held a distinguished scientific symposium on pediatric surgery in the Grand Millennium Hotel Hall, with joint participation between the College of Medicine in Basra, Al-Zahra College of Medicine, Basra Health Department, and the Iraqi Society for Medical Research and Studies. A group of lecturers from Al-Zahra College of Medicine participated in the symposium, where Professor Dr. Haitham Hussein Ali Al-Hadith, Assistant Dean of Administration at Al-Zahra College of Medicine and a pediatric surgery specialist, gave a comprehensive lecture on the latest techniques in pediatric surgery in important medical cases. Assistant Professor Dr. Sadiq Hassan Kazim, Head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Basra Specialized Children's Hospital, gave another lecture in which he reviewed his experiences, but he witnesses in this sensitive and important field. The symposium witnesses a wide attendance by doctors and specialists in the field of pediatric surgery, in addition to the Dean of the College of Medicine in Basra, Professor Dr. Mazen Hawaz Abdul Rio, who plans to greatly appreciate the lecturers and their efforts in providing valuable open content.
