The Department of Construction and Projects at Basra University has completed a number of important projects before the start of the new academic year, under the direct supervision of the University President, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim.
The projects included the construction of buildings, classrooms and specialized laboratories, as well as the works of opening new streets and furnishing them, paving and rehabilitating old streets and completing a special garage for students, in addition to supervising all projects referred to other companies in the Bab Al-Zubair and Karmat Ali sites and the specialized university hospital.
It is noteworthy that the Department of Construction and Projects has completed the building of the Arts College and the Al-Zahraa Medicine College and buildings for the internal departments and halls in the College of Nursing, the College of Education for Girls, and the College of Science, as well as a student club in the College of Education for Pure Sciences, in addition to special rooms for inquiries affiliated with the Follow-up Department, low-cost houses and other projects.
