The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra concluded a joint scientific cooperation agreement with the libraries of the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and Abbas, in the presence of the library director, Dr. Nidal Muhammad Qambar.
The agreement included exchanging the scientific products and publications of the College of Education for Humanities and the two holy shrines, both paper and digital, from primary sources, modern references, and paper indexes of rare manuscripts from the Manuscripts Center of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein, in addition to including the college library (Nazik Al-Malaika Library) within the official digital communication channels of the libraries of the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and Abbas and the Manuscripts Center.
On the sidelines of the agreement, the College of Education for Humanities donated more than 100 electronic discs containing the scientific products of the college members, and the libraries of the two shrines donated more than 300 discs to the college library containing modern sources and references and paper indexes of rare manuscripts from the Manuscripts Center of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein, and a letter of thanks and appreciation was presented by the library of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein to the director of the library.
