The Dean of the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Nidaa Mohammed Baqer, met with Dr. Haider Ajrash, Chairman of the Accreditation Standards Committee for Educational Quality at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to discuss steps and ways to reach the quality standards.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to achieve the vision, mission and objectives of the college in accordance with the accreditation standards set by the ministry, develop plans and programs to improve the quality and performance of the institution from learning, teaching, scientific research and community service, and provide the appropriate environment to take care of the college's faculty, researchers, employees and students, and implement and monitor these procedures periodically.
It was agreed with the Accreditation Committee at the Ministry of Education to organize workshops and courses for members of the quality committees to develop their performance and identify the quality requirements emphasized by the Ministry.
