Under the supervision and follow-up of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Assadi, and intense efforts by the Dean of the College of Education/Qurna, Professor Dr. Adnan Sultan Abdul Nabi, and the Head of the Chemistry Department, Assistant Professor Amjad Taher Battur The approval of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research was obtained to establish postgraduate studies (Master’s) for the Chemistry Department at the College of Education/Qurna for the academic year 2025-2026 in support of graduates of the Chemistry Department and to serve and develop the community and specialized oil companies.
