In a move that strengthens cooperation between the healthcare and academic sectors in Basrah, Dr. Abbas Al-Tamimi, Director General of Basrah Health Directorate, has joined the Board of Al-Zahraa College of Medicine at the University of Basrah.
Dr. Al-Tamimi's inclusion in the college’s board reflects the Health Directorate's commitment to enhancing the quality of medical education in the province and developing medical professionals. His extensive experience in public health is expected to enrich the board’s work and contribute to achieving its objectives.
In turn, Dr. Al-Tamimi expressed his pleasure in joining the board, emphasizing his eagerness to collaborate with the members to foster integration between academic and practical aspects of the medical field.
This step is part of Al-Zahraa College of Medicine’s efforts to establish itself as a leading educational and research center in the field of medicine and to graduate generations of qualified doctors to serve the community.
