The College of Nursing at the University of Basra held a special celebration on the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the presence of a number of faculty members, employees and students at the college. This celebration witnessed an atmosphere of friendliness and solidarity to celebrate this special day.
The celebration included a variety of cultural and religious events and activities, as the ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and prayers for the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
In the context of this occasion, the teacher Farhan Laith Aiz, a member of the faculty, gave an influential speech in which he emphasized the importance of this day and its great impact on the lives of Muslims. In his speech, he addressed the values of tolerance and love that the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, called for, and pointed out the importance of applying these values in our daily lives and in our societies.
He concluded his speech by offering congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, expressing his hope that this positive spirit will continue in the college and in our society in general. The Dean of the College thanked and appreciated everyone for their interaction and active participation in this celebration. At the end of the ceremony, this celebration reflected the spirit of solidarity and cooperation and reinforced the values of tolerance and understanding that Islam calls for.
