In light of the joint cooperation between the University of Basra and other Iraqi universities and in light of the order issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the selection of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Nidaa Muhammad Baqir, to participate in a course on teaching methods according to blended education at Sumer University.
The participation included presenting a training workshop on the pillars of education and learning entitled Learning and Teaching Strategies and the meaning of terms included in education to improve the learning process and enhance students' understanding and comprehension of the study materials.
The workshop aimed to train participating faculty members on the meaning of terms and distinguish between them and how to employ them correctly within the lecture. It also addressed the statement of modern teaching strategies and techniques that rely on technological development, focusing on how to distinguish between students according to the communication theory and individual differences and in light of brain dominance so that the lecture is interactive, which leads to maintaining the effect of learning and achieving the set goals.
At the end of the workshop, it was recommended that continuous and mandatory training be provided to all faculty members and stopping participation means stopping giving
