The College of Al-Zahra in the University of Basra mourns the leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was martyred while defending his homeland and the dignity of its people. This painful event reminds us of the necessity to stand with our sister Lebanon during the difficult circumstances it faces. We are committed to supporting and enhancing aid to Lebanon, and we pray for the alleviation of the suffering of its people. We remember with reverence the sacrifices of Mr. Hassan Nasrallah, and we ask God to grant him eternal peace and to bestow safety and stability upon Lebanon.
