The lecturer, Assistant Professor Dr. Basem Hamid Sultan from the Department of Geology at the College of Science / University of Basra, reviewed the concept of geological reserves and geological diversity and the most important conditions and requirements for establishing geological reserves and their importance from a scientific and economic point of view.. The workshop was included in the UNESCO website map of events and activities held to celebrate this global occasion.
