The Cultural Center organizes a campaign to plant green spaces
The Cultural Center at the University of Basra organized a wide campaign to afforestation and cultivation of green spaces.
The director of the cultural center, Dr. Mushtaq Salem Abdul Razzaq, said that the center launched a wide voluntary campaign to rehabilitate the front and back gardens.
The campaign included planting a large number of different rose seedlings, cutting trees, landscaping, rehabilitating the irrigation water system, and rehabilitating the corridors to give an aesthetic touch to the center.
The campaign aims to spread the culture of voluntary work to preserve the university environment and increase cultural and environmental awareness.
