
Under the patronage and guidance of the Dentistry College Dean at Basrah University, Assistant Professor Dr. Fateh Abdul Sahib Al-Khaqani, a delegation of professors and students of the College visited the State House for Flower Care.
The visit included examining and treating orphans, diagnosing oral diseases, caring for and paying attention to oral and dental health, spreading reassurance in the souls of orphans and accustoming them to receiving treatment and health care, eliminating the fear of visiting dentist clinics and also coexisting with orphans in the institution that cares for orphans and alleviates their suffering, in addition to distributing gifts among them and holding competitions and videos on how to maintain and clean teeth.
The visit aims to draw a smile on the orphans faces who are cared for by the Care Authority, in addition to instilling humanitarian principles in the souls of students who represent future doctors through repeated field visits to orphan institutions, elderly homes and homes for people with special needs, in addition to diagnostic visits to their dental diseases.
The visit concluded with an atmosphere full of love and solidarity, as Dentistry College left a positive mark in the hearts of children and had a positive impact on its community, reflecting the human spirit and social responsibility of its members.
It is worth noting that the delegation visited the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities and Special Needs in Basra, accompanied by Dr. Zahraa Mazen, Dr. Sarah Adel and Dr. Ahmed Mustafa Al-Taama in the college.
