The Laboratory Quality Follow-up Committee visited the College of Medicine at the University of Basra and was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak.
The visit aims to review and examine the chemical materials and how to store and dispense them. The committee provided observations aimed at enhancing the strengths of the laboratories and making them a suitable educational environment for both teaching staff and students to complete their research and projects.
It is worth noting that the laboratories of the College of Medicine at the University of Basra are model laboratories that serve students and ensure their safety thanks to the presence of safety methods from empties and an integrated fire system that includes all departments of the college.
At the end of the tour, the committee appreciated the efforts made by the department's members in improving the reality of their laboratories and presenting them in the best possible way.
