The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a workshop entitled: "Drugs, their effects, complications and solutions" in which the workshop participated. The workshop aims to take a serious stand from different segments of society to confront this scourge, which is one of the most important social and economic problems facing society, not only in Iraq but in most countries of the world. The workshop, presented by the legal dean "Wael Abdul Amir Al-Eidani" and the head of the security committee in the Basrah Council, Dr. Aqeel Talib Al-Furaiji, included shedding light on the causes of the spread of drugs and their impact on the user and society, the most important symptoms that appear on the user and the solutions that must be followed to reduce this phenomenon.
