Under the patronage of the respected President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. (Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi) and under the supervision of the Director of the Department of Internal Sections Affairs, Dr. (Mitham Al-Wazzan), the annual five-a-side football championship was held at the University of Basra, Karmat Ali site, on the grounds of the internal sections stadium. The championship included a number of participating student teams and a distinguished audience presence.
