The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra provided therapeutic and preventive services to the children of the National Orphanage Foundation in Basra Governorate as part of the community services provided by the college in the governorate.
Assistant Professor Sundus Abdul-Wadood indicated that the college received 35 children in the educational clinics and conducted a dental examination and took the necessary treatment and prevention and followed up on cases that require follow-up and attention.
They were given advice and guidance to encourage them to take care of and pay attention to oral and dental health and accustom them to receiving treatment and health care and eliminating children's fear of visiting dentist clinics.
It is worth noting that the College of Dentistry is constantly providing health services to all segments of society in Basra Governorate.
