The thesis of researcher Lina Kadhim Mashhot Awad included a field survey of fuzaric wilt disease for several farms in Zubair and Safwan district, collecting samples from plants of saline and desert environments, isolating endophytic fungi from the internal tissues of these plants and identified based on its morphological features and molecular.
The thesis aims to study the role of endophytic fungi in stimulating systemic resistance to tomato plants infected with fusarmic wilt and salt stress.
The thesis concluded the effectiveness of endophytic fungi in stimulating systemic resistance to tomato plants with fusarmic wilt and tomato plants prone to saline sustenance by increasing structural and systemic resistance.
The thesis recommended the use of endophytic fungi in biological control programs.
