Al-Zahraa College of Medicine at Basrah University organized a workshop titled "Enhancing Cybersecurity: Strategies for Data and Privacy Protection in the Digital Age." The workshop covered important topics on how to strengthen cybersecurity in light of current digital challenges and strategies for protecting data and privacy. Assistant Professor Dr. Waleed Al-Hashemi and Dr. Amer Qasim Mal Allah led the workshop.
The workshop aimed to:
- Highlight the importance of cybersecurity amidst rapid technological advancement.
- Equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to protect their data and privacy in the digital world.
- Discuss common cyber threats and ways to prevent them.
- Review best practices for protecting personal data and sensitive information.
- Introduce cybersecurity laws and regulations.
This workshop aligns with Basrah University's efforts to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and privacy in the digital era, equipping participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to face these challenges.
