Under the direct guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, and with the follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Sundus Baqir Dawood, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Director of Student Affairs and Registration, Lecturer Muhammad Kazim Mutasher, the cadres of the Registration Department and the committees formed in our college began receiving and registering new students accepted for initial studies through the central admission channel and direct admission (general, martyrs' families, elite channel) for the academic year 2024-2025.Assistant Professor Dr. Sundus Baqer Dawood, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, confirmed that the reception of students is organized by handing applicants a serial number to ensure entry and the application process is carried out directly, in addition to the presence of committees that follow up on the safety of applicants and provide them with comfort. She also indicated that the work plan has been divided into several groups, the first of which is specialized in registering accepted students, verifying their names, and giving them the application file, which contains (a written pledge, a medical examination form, a document request), while the second group is given a username and a password in the student management system so that the applicant can fill in his data within the system, while the third group works on verifying the data entered in the student management system, focusing on the accuracy of data entry, the most important of which is (the correctness of the student’s name, the examination number), as it is used as a username for the student in the student management system.
