The College of Nursing at the University of Basra received a delegation from the Holy Quran Complex for Memorization and Islamic Studies in Basra. They were received by Assistant Professor Dr. Sundus Baqir Dawood, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Lecturer Farhan Laidh Aiz, Director of the Educational Guidance Unit. The visiting delegation consisted of the legal expert Ali Talib, Director of the Quranic Project in Basra, Sheikh Abdul Basit Al-Sahlani from the Holy Quran House, and Professor Murtada Al-Lami
The meeting included discussions on holding Quranic seminars and competitions hosted by the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, in addition to the importance of Quranic work in Iraqi universities and ways to improve their Quranic reality, especially after the great turnout witnessed by religious activities and events from various segments of academic and student society and others The visiting delegation stressed the importance of holding lectures, religious seminars, and Quranic work in particular, in developing the reality Quranic as one of the most important basic bodies in activating the Quranic movement in Iraq.
