The College of Engineering, University of Basra held a teaching eligibility test for applicants for new appointments to government and private engineering colleges. Three applicants were tested in the fields of civil engineering and mechatronics engineering. Each applicant gave a specialized lecture in which he demonstrated his scientific ability and the method of delivering the material to students. They were then tested on their proficiency in the English language. After that, the head and members of the committee made their observations for each applicant to enhance his performance and future skills.
