The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra organized an interactive lecture for fifth-year students on “Periodontal management of” medically compromised patient.
The interactive lecture, which was attended and supervised by the teaching assistant, Hoda Jassim, and with the participation of a number of students in the explanation, included the most important information related to the subject and the most important problems of diseases and their treatment and how to manage them within the educational clinic to maintain the patient’s safety from potential complications.
The interactive lecture aims to explain how to deal with patients with systemic and chronic diseases that may cause many problems or hinder work.
The interactive lecture recommended paying attention to taking the patient’s medical history accurately and maintaining the patient’s comfort and safety.
