The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra participated in the third Quranic forum held by the general secretariat of the husseiniyya holy shrine Dar Al-Quran in cooperation with the University of Basra within the Quranic project program at Iraqi universities and institutes for the period from 4-7 of this month 2024 in the presence of the administrative assistant to the rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Rashk, dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, and prestigious official and religious parties.
The participation of the Faculty of Fine Arts included a distinguished art exhibition that included many paintings that varied in their themes and connotations, expressing creative visions that are consistent with the goals of the Quranic forum and its spirituality. A collection of Quranic texts, which gave the exhibition a special character and was admired by the audience.
This activity comes as part of the College of Fine Arts ' series of participations in religious and cultural events aimed at strengthening the links between art and spiritual values, and consolidating the college's position as a beacon of Fine Art in society.
