The esteemed Basra University Council chose the College of Education for Human Sciences building as a place to hold its deliberative meeting in its open session, and the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hamid Siraj Jaber, said, “The path taken by the university presidency to hold a council meeting in the colleges is a productive one because it is not limited to holding a meeting in a building, but it is accompanied by cooperation and integration between the directors of the departments in the presidency and the administrative joints in the college that are chosen to overcome the difficulties and deal closely between the administrative, financial, legal and scientific divisions, as well as reviewing the college’s facilities and its general framework, which is part of the evaluative aspect affecting the university’s evaluations.
Generally speaking, for his part, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Nawfal Kazem, said, "Choosing our college as a venue for the esteemed University Council meeting carries many positive signs that motivate us to make more efforts to raise the level of performance."
