The Council of the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra held its regular meeting in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, who is authorized to manage and run the college's affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Khazal Al-Kaabi, the Dean's Assistants for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, and the heads of scientific departments.
During the meeting, many topics on its agenda were discussed, which concern the educational process, including the Student Discipline Law and the emphasis on adhering to the internal laws, regulations, instructions and orders issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University Presidency, such as adherence to the uniform, absence, and avoiding everything that conflicts with university behavior of high discipline, respect for the administration and faculty, and fellowship and cooperation relations between students.
The Council discussed working on developing scientific research, activating the college's resources in accordance with the applicable laws, and discussing the needs of the scientific departments, and following up on the regularity of first-stage students.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Registration and Student Affairs Department at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Shukri Shaker Faleh
