Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab The work of the training course on measuring vital signs concluded today, Thursday, 11/7/2024.Organized by the College of Nursing at the University of Basra in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra.For her part, Assistant Professor Dr. Sundus Baqir Dawood, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, explained that the course dealt with many axes that aimed to transfer health knowledge and experiences to the participants in the course with practical application of many activities, in addition to qualifying university cadres and increasing their level of awareness on how to deal with multiple injuries and emergency cases until the arrival of the competent authorities.It is worth noting that the course presented a number of recommendations, most notably the continuation of organizing such training workshops and motivating all employees to participate in them, in addition to emphasizing the importance of spreading the culture of first aid among all employees and enhancing the role of the media in spreading health awareness of first aid and spreading correct health information among citizens.
