The member of University of Basrah / College of Medicine; Dr. Ahmed Jassim Mohammed, participated in operation for the first time at Al-Faiha Teaching Hospital. The operation was related to excise the tumor and remove pressure on the spinal cord of a patient who was suffering from weakness and severe pain with numbness of the right leg. Dr. Ahmed Jassim Mohammed confirmed that Al-Faiha Hospital is prepared and ready to receive the patients, and the spinal surgery could be performed at the hospital, to serve Basrah Community especially the poor citizen, in these difficult circumstances.
