Under the patronage of the respected President of the University of Basra, and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Dentistry, the College of Dentistry at the University of Basra held a joyful celebration to commemorate and activate the occasion of the World Chastity Day on the anniversary of the birth of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her), where female students for the sake of Fatima, in cooperation with the Fatima University Gathering and the Women's Science and Religion Forum at the University of Basra, performed. The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by the reciter Zaid Salman Al-Mayahy, followed by a speech by Mr. Aqil Al-Khorasani on the anniversary of the birth of Lady Zainab Al-Kubra, the Lady of Chastity, the daughter of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him), the daughter of the Commander of the Faithful and the daughter of Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon them). The throats of chanting also resounded with the love of Lady Zainab Al-Kubra (peace be upon her) by the chanter Ashraf Al-Tamimi. The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Basic Sciences Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Faleh Hassan, the Director of the Follow-up Department of the College of Dentistry, M.M. Sultan Dayikh, and the Director of the Continuing Education Department, M.D. Rafida Majeed, a number of employees and a large crowd of first and second year students. At the end of the ceremony, gifts and sweets were distributed to the participants in the ceremony on the occasion of World Chastity Day.
