Two lecturers at the College of Education for Girls, Zainab Saeb Abdul Amir and Fatima Ayoub Yaqoub, participated in the scientific symposium "The Phenomenon of Drug Abuse - Causes and Treatments" held by the College of Arts at the University of Basra, Department of Geography and Information Systems.
The participation included giving a lecture entitled "The Harmful Effects of Drugs Exceed Nuclear Risks".
The symposium aimed to explain the impact of drugs on the individual and society and their destruction of the economy of the country in which this phenomenon is widespread and how to raise awareness and educate Iraqi society and ways to treat and prevent it.
