Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, and under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, and in cooperation with the Basra Chess Federation and the Rafidain Center for Chess Education and Training in the halls of the College of Nursing in the Bab Al-Zubair Colleges Complex, the College of Nursing had an effective participation, as a number of male and female students from the college participated and obtained advanced ranks, which is a distinguished step for selecting the college team to participate in the central chess championship that will be held by the Presidency of the University of Basra.
