The regular meeting of the Deans Committee of Dental Colleges in Iraq was held in the first session of the academic year 2024-2025 at the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad.
During the meeting, they discussed several topics, the most important of which were discussing the requirements of the evaluation exam, the mechanism for setting questions, preparing graduates, academic development, and ways to enhance the quality of education and scientific research and open up horizons for international partnerships.
The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Asaad Muhammad Kazim, Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Basra, where the meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, the deans of government dental colleges and the official in charge of private colleges, Dr. Adhraa.
Al-Hashemi stressed the importance of effective interaction between colleges and the exchange of experiences to raise the level of medical education and scientific research.
The focus was also on providing the necessary support to faculty members and providing an appropriate and stimulating educational environment for students to ensure the graduation of qualified and competent dentists capable of keeping pace with developments in the field of dentistry and providing the best treatment services to patients.
