Welcoming First-Year Students for the Academic Year 2024-2025
Under the guidance and supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics - Al-Qurna, Prof. Dr. Adnan Farhan Abdulhussein, and in the presence of Dr. Zahid Qasim Badan, Head of the Finance and Investment Department; Dr. Wissam Basheer Hassan, Head of the Project Management Department; and Assistant Lecturer Bilal Nouri Khairallah, Head of the Educational Guidance Unit, a welcoming and orientation meeting was organized for the first-year students of the academic year 2024-2025. The event took place on Sunday, November 17, 2024.
The meeting focused on three main topics:
Introduction to the Bologna Process: Students were introduced to the Bologna academic framework.
Student Conduct Regulations: An explanation of the student discipline code and its implications was provided.
Encouragement and Guidance: Students were urged to attend weekly classes diligently, adhere to the dress code, respect university traditions, and avoid academic dishonesty.
Finally, students were introduced to the nature of the scientific departments in the college and the opportunities available to them in the job market upon graduation.
