The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific lecture on the side effects of drugs on the skin.
The lecture aims to highlight the most important different side effects on the skin resulting from the use of different drugs, and that these effects vary in severity from simple and reversible and can stop once the treatment is stopped and can be treated with simple medications to severe effects that may be life-threatening and require the patient to be admitted to the hospital to receive treatment.
The scientific lecture, in which the lecturer Raed Saad lectured, included an explanation of the different types of side effects and methods of treating them.
The lecture recommended the necessity of careful investigation to reveal the diagnosis causing these effects in terms of the type of treatment used, the dose used, and the period of use.
