The CDC Unit at the College of Marine Sciences held an awareness seminar entitled "Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Their Social and Legal Impact and Treatment Methods" at the College of Marine Sciences, Department of Natural Marine Sciences.
The seminar was given by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Karim Zayer Al-Muzani / Head of the Educational Guidance Unit and Lieutenant Colonel Muntadher Kazim Nema / Community Police Division in Basra.
The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College of Marine Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Qasim Khalifa, The Director CDC Center, Dr. Majed Ashoor, and a wonderful group of professors from the College of Marine Sciences, in addition to a remarkable attendance of students.
The lecturers succeeded in conveying the important message of the seminar through an interesting and influential presentation, and the interaction was clear from the attendees regarding the importance of conveying the ideas of the seminar on the widest scale to protect our society and advance it forward.
