The University of Basra organized the graduation ceremony of its 57th students, which was named the (Science and Construction) batch, in the presence of Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani and a large number of professors, officials, families of students and graduates. In his speech during the ceremony, the university president addressed the graduates, "I greet you on this blessed day from your university and in this majestic ceremony to graduate a distinguished group of our daughters and sons from the students of the University of Basra, this ancient university and academic institution that was born proud and will remain proud with its position, role and keenness to create an ideal academic educational environment."
Adding, "We meet today to graduate the (fifty-seventh) session, the (Science and Construction) session, from graduates of this academic edifice that we are proud of and are armed with knowledge, skills, the spirit of challenge, determination, resolve and creativity, possessing an integrated set of values and morals to be their compass in their practical and professional lives."
The first student also delivered a speech on behalf of her colleagues, stressing, "It is a pleasure for me to stand before you at this wonderful moment in which I celebrate with you, my fellow graduates and I."
Confirming, "I offer my thanks and sincere affection to the faculty members who contributed greatly to To reach this moment full of pride and hope for a bright future"
The ceremony, which was held at the Mina Olympic Club Stadium, witnessed an atmosphere of joy, as graduates from various colleges and specializations attended to celebrate the end of their academic journey.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of the university oath, honoring outstanding students, and distributing graduation certificates to students amid an atmosphere of joy and happiness.
