The College of Nursing at the University of Basra participated in the central graduation ceremony for the 57th session, under the slogan (Science and Construction Course) for the academic year 2023-2024, at the Mina Stadium. The ceremony was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Sundus Baqir Dawood, with the participation of a number of faculty members and students of the college, and in the presence of a number of political and security leaders and a large gathering of students. On Thursday, 11/28/2022. The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the Iraqi national anthem, amidst singing and pride in the victories of our valiant army. The university president delivered his speech in which he highlighted the role of the University of Basra in providing society with scientific competencies and directing graduate students to pay attention to the field of work and profession. He stressed the need to benefit from these experiences and young energies to build Iraq. For his part, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab congratulated his sons, the graduate students, with a speech saying, I congratulate you from a heart that carries love for you, and I testify that you are worthy of the confidence that you have passed the most difficult stages. I pray to God to grant you success in your practical life and contribute to building your country and lift the pain from your brothers and provide the best health care and services. At the end of the celebration, the oath was recited to the graduates, after which gifts were distributed to the top graduate students in the colleges by the university president. Also, gifts were distributed to the top students by the college deanship, represented by its dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Mohammed Al-Nawab, and the attendees expressed their determination to progress and continue giving to serve Iraq in various scientific and humanitarian specialties.
