The Deanship of the College of Science, under the supervision of the psychological and educational counseling and Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the student activities unit, and under the supervision of the dean of the College of science, professor Dr. Ali Abdul Imam Abdul Zahra, and Dr. Maha Khalaf zghair, the head of the Counseling Unit at the College of science, organized the introductory meeting for new students this year as part of the activities of the second day of the counseling week. The events included: the beginning of the ceremony with the national anthem and the speech of the dean to welcome the students, followed by a lecture on the importance and tasks of psychological counseling and educational guidance in universities delivered by Dr. Maha Khalaf, the guidance officer at the college, there was a theatrical performance for students under the title (neglect), and the ceremony included many other paragraphs, including the paragraph honoring the first students of last year, a paragraph commemorating the martyrs of Speicher, a paragraph recalling the Israeli aggression on Palestine and Lebanon, a paragraph competitions, roses and sweets were distributed to the students, and finally from the wise male and the ceremony was for the morning and evening classes
