The college recently witnessed, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Asaad Muhammad Kazim, providing the clinics with the latest dental chairs, devices and equipment required to train students on patients.
These chairs allow for increasing the capacity of the clinics and thus work to provide a suitable environment for students to train on treatments with high accuracy, which ensures that they receive the best practical training, in an educational environment that simulates reality, which contributes to developing their practical skills.
This qualitative step comes as a translation of the keenness of the Presidency of the University of Basra to complete the provision of an integrated educational and training environment for its students, which ensures the graduation of qualified dentists capable of dealing with various medical cases.
In a statement to the college media; Prof. Dr. Asaad Mohammed Kazim, Dean of the College, stressed the university's keenness to link theoretical education with applied education according to the latest international standards and quality standards, through direct engagement in the application of theories and knowledge, so that the information and skills acquired theoretically are transformed into practical and applied practices, with the aim of graduating scientifically qualified generations, armed with all the necessary tools to enable them to join the development of work with merit and high confidence. He pointed out that these clinics will provide distinguished dental care services to the community using the latest technologies as a community service.
