The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra discussed joint cooperation with the Directorate of the Care Authority for People with Special Needs, through the visit of Dr. Fadia Yaqoub Youssef, Head of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Department at the College of Education for Girls, to discuss joint cooperation with the Director of the Care Authority for People with Special Needs, Mr. Ali Mahmoud Al-Mansouri in Basra Governorate.
The two sides discussed holding seminars, workshops and discussion groups and the continuous and serious endeavor to serve society in all its segments and the effective participation of educational institutions because knowledge is the key to empowerment and the best way towards equal opportunities to include more people with special needs
