General Secretariat of the central Library and a cooperation with Women Empowerment Division and Attorney Syndicate in Basrah a seminar about amendment of the personal status law.
A seminar aimed to introduce amended legal articles to academic society and the position of Islamic law from it , it presented by attorney Ahmed Riyadh Ramidh and Adnan Abdul- Zahra.
The seminar showed the affect of modified materials on society in achieving balance between traditional and legal and religious requirements, discussion the material which relates to the legal marriage at age (18) years old to include minors marriage at nine years old, fatherś custody for children after seven years old and inheritance including the rights of all family members.
