The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra held a democratic and transparent voting process to elect the student representative at the college with the participation of student representatives in all scientific departments, and in the presence of the dean of the college, professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, the Scientific Assistant and the heads of departments in a democratic atmosphere, the voting process took place according to the legal formulas in this field, and after the completion and counting of votes, the student won Fadel qusaq Mohsen from the Department of plastic arts for evening study.
After that, the Dean gave a detailed explanation about the important role played by the student representative at the college and the importance of this role in conveying students ' problems and raising them in the council for the purpose of addressing them. Wishing him success in performing his tasks in order to improve his work, develop his performance, participate in the opinion, respect opinions and take them in a manner consistent with the process of developing the college's career.
In conclusion, the elected student Fadel qusaq thanked the Deanship of the college, and addressed a speech to his fellow students expressing his thanks and gratitude to them for their trust in him and that he would be fully prepared to serve students in accordance with the instructions and University laws stipulated.
