Dr. Abdul Ameer Hussein Ali, the instructor of Basra University/College of Arts at the Department of Translation, took part in the proceedings of the scientific symposium held by Arab Gulf Centre on Wednesday 26/ 8 / 2020.
The title of this symposium was (Significance of Contrastive Linguistics for Students of Translation at the College of Arts). This symposium was launched through Zoom Program.
The aim of Dr. Abdul Ameer's paper was to highlight the essence of the empty subject in Arabic and English and its role in the process of translation across the two languages.
