The College of Education for Pure Sciences held a Victory and Peace Festival with the participation of department heads, faculty members, employees and students. The opening ceremony was marked by verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the playing of the national anthem and the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah while standing in memory of the souls of our righteous martyrs. After that, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, delivered a speech on this occasion in which he emphasized the great role of the heroic security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces in achieving victory over the criminal ISIS gangs. The festival witnessed the recitation of many national poems expressing joy on this occasion and other activities that demonstrated the bravery of the Iraqi forces and their confrontation with the terrorist ISIS.
