The Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra received students from Al-Hartha Intermediate School for Boys.
The scientific visit aimed to identify the role of the college in scientific aspects and community service, scientific departments, and to view the college's facilities and classrooms.
The visit included a tour of the college's corridors and a meeting with the Head of the Department of Educational Counseling and Guidance, Dr. Maida Mardan Muhi, who explained the effective role of the College of Education for Human Sciences in preparing teachers, educational counselors and vocational guidance with the aim of educating students about the fields available to them after passing the preparatory stage.
The department's instructors stressed the importance of the role of students and their effective impact in building society and the task entrusted to them, and the importance of setting educational and professional goals for students in general and preparatory stage students in particular.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ikthar Khalil Ibrahim and Dr. Muntadhar Abdullah Mughamis
