




The College of Administration and Economics in Qurna Celebrates Victory Day
The College of Administration and Economics - Qurna, University of Basra, celebrated National Victory Day in a grand event that commemorated the heroism and sacrifices of the people of Iraq in defending their land and sacred sites.
The celebration, attended by a large number of students, professors, and staff, included a ceremony to raise the Iraqi flag in an atmosphere of pride and honor. The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Adnan Farhan Al-Jourani, delivered a speech in which he emphasized the significance of this day in Iraq's history, stressing the importance of remembering the immense sacrifices made by our security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces to achieve victory and preserve national dignity.
The event also featured an exhibition of photographs of Iraq's martyrs, who gave their lives for the country. Their images were displayed as a testament to the courage and loyalty of the Iraqis to their homeland. The celebration also included video clips documenting the heroic moments of the security forces in the battles of liberation, highlighting the immense sacrifices made to defend Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The event concluded with expressions of gratitude to the families of martyrs and all those who contributed to achieving victory, alongside a call to work towards building the future of Iraq through the unity and solidarity of all its citizens.
