



The Department of Project Management at the College of Administration and Economics – Qurna, University of Basra, organized an educational trip for fourth-year students (both morning and evening classes) to the Karmet Ali College Complex on Sunday, December 15, 2024. This trip was part of the scientific activities aimed at enhancing the practical and cognitive aspects of the students.
The students were accompanied by Dr. Arfat Nasser Jassem and Asst. Prof. Mukhled Dhaher Habib, who emphasized the importance of such scientific visits in linking the theoretical knowledge students acquire during their studies with its practical applications in various university institutions. The trip included a tour of the complex's infrastructure and academic and scientific facilities, as well as learning about the management of development projects within the university campus.
The tour also included visits to several colleges and centers, such as the Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning, the Information Technology Center, the Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Center, and the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, where the students met with officials and relevant staff members.
At the end of the trip, the students expressed their gratitude for this opportunity, which allowed them to enhance their scientific knowledge and gain insights into real-world experiences that contribute to enriching their future skills. This trip is part of the department’s plan to link educational outcomes with labor market needs, emphasizing the role of scientific trips in preparing qualified personnel to manage projects efficiently and professionally.
