Dr. Enas Abdel Aziz Aboud, a certified trainer in the Riyada Initiative, participated in the first Riyada Initiative Exhibition held at the Baghdad International Fair from December 14-16, 2024, representing the Polymer Research Center, University of Basrah .The exhibition was attended by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, a number of prominent political and economic figures, in addition to representatives of national and international companies interested in promoting entrepreneurship and developing the Iraqi economy. During the exhibition, the University of Basra presented a distinguished display of a group of innovative projects supervised by Riyada Initiative trainers. The work of trainees who benefited from the training programs provided by the university was highlighted, as these projects reflected their entrepreneurial capabilities and distinctive innovations aimed at achieving sustainable economic development. The first Riyada Initiative Exhibition is a unique platform for Iraqi youth to showcase their ideas and skills, which contributes to achieving the goals of the initiative, which include; promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, providing new and sustainable job opportunities and upporting small and medium enterprises as a basic pillar of the national economy. The distinguished presence of the University of Basra at the exhibition was a qualitative addition to the event, enhancing its role in empowering youth and achieving sustainable economic development in Iraq.
