Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs and Educational Guidance Unit at the college, organized a seminar on the path of effective study and how to manage time for university students, which was lectured by Assistant Professor Louay Abdul Wahid Shihab, Lecturer Dr. Iman Hanash Rahi, and Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Mahmoud Hussein, members of the teaching staff in the Basic Sciences Department. The target group was first-year students in the College of Nursing.
The seminar included how to adapt to university life and the main steps to get rid of the difficulties that students face in the first stage of their university life. The seminar also included introducing students to how to organize time during the university study period and achieve the desired success and what are the things that waste the time of the university student. The seminar also included providing some useful advice for the university student to get rid of the anxiety and tension surrounding the first year at the university, as well as advice on how to deal with the diverse segment of students, as well as introducing students to the various methods of studying during the exam period. The seminar also touched on the topic of university housing and how to adapt to it During the university study period.
