The College of Arts, Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Central Library, organized a workshop entitled “The Impact of Social Networking on the Academic Community (Positives and Negatives).” The workshop, in which Dr. Shaker Majeed Kazim, Dr. Intisar Adnan Abdul Wahid, Dr. Dunya Abdul Ali and teacher Hassan Habib Obaid participated, aimed to educate students about the importance of social media and alert students to the dangers of social media and how to optimally use these media. The workshop included a video presentation about the types of social media such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Telegram, Viber and Instagram, explaining their importance and presenting their negatives.
